2018: Looking Ahead

January 1, 2018

2017 was an amazing year and I am beyond thankful for the friends, experiences, and laughs that came with it. As easy as it would be to write about every important event that happened to me in 2017, it’s much more exciting to think about the limitless possibilities waiting in 2018.

Without further to do, here are the top 3 things I am looking forward to in 2018!

  1. Graduating! I will be graduating from college this May and could not be more excited, not just to graduate but for everything that comes with it. I will either start working full time post grad (9-5 yikes!) or enroll in a graduate school program. I’ve loved my time in Chicago and would obviously love to stay if that works out BUT a new adventure wouldn’t be a bad thing either.
  2. Photography. Big surprise, I was actually really into photography in high school (both digital and film!). I’ve always pushed it to the side in college with the typical, “I don’t have enough time” excuse but I’m taking a light class load this spring and I just cannot justify having two DSRL cameras collecting dust. Here’s to breaking them out, relearning Lightroom and capturing memories along the way!
  3. Blogging. A huge thank you to all of you who followed me to this blog from the early Tumblr days. And yes I am still trying to buy that domain name if it’s the last thing I do AH (it’s currently owned by a foreign company and I have literally no clue how to get around that, if anyone has ideas PLEASE HELP ME). I’ve always been wishy-washy with posting and content despite it being one of my favorite things to do. BUT I’ve actually made a content calendar through February this time and blogging is something I truly want to get back into.

Thank you all for sticking around the past 3 years on WordPress, 2 years on Blogger and the immortal years spent on Tumblr. I appreciate it more than you could ever know. Wishing you a happy New Year filled with love and happiness!

xx, Anne
